About Me
Hi, I’m Nikki and I’m the artist and owner of Nikki Nicole Co. I am currently based out of Raleigh, North Carolina where I was born and raised. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Westin, and together we have two kiddos- Reagan and Greyson.
All of my life, art, design, and photography have kind of just found me in whatever stage I’ve been in. It is what brings me the most joy outside of Jesus and my family.
In highschool I bought my first camera and dabbled in portrait and wedding photography for a couple years. In college I continued taking photos while taking some art and graphic design classes here and there. For as long as I can remember I’ve been designing birthday, baby shower, wedding invitations and Christmas cards for my friends and family and in 2015 I started watercolor painting. I painted mostly custom house, business, and pet portraits but dabbled in some other things as well. More recently I designed a T-shirt and now take real estate photos.
I’m from Raleigh, North Carolina, but lived in the blue ridge mountains for about 10 years and I hold those years very close to my heart. It’s where we brought both of our babies into this world and where I first started painting. There’s just something about the crisp mountain air too!
Here are some things that make me, ME!
- My real name is Nikki Nicole. Just to clarify- First name: Nikki. Middle name: Nicole. Don’t ask my parents why, because they’ll just tell you they thought it was pretty!
- I am an identical twin, born three minutes apart (I’m the oldest).
- I’m married to my high school sweetheart (Westin), and together we have two kids (Reagan and Greyson) that are 15 months apart.
- I’m a believer in Jesus Christ and want to use the gifts He has given me to love and serve people.
- I am a beach person turned mountain person after living in the blue ridge mountains. Nothing beats a mountain summer.
- I love reading! I don't have a favorite genre, but most of my books end up being fantasy or historical fiction. My favorite authors are Brandon Sanderson and Kristin Hannah.
- I work full time in software sales at BMC Software.
